We're all looking for ways to enjoy the little moments of life, like listening to music while we work or relax. Sony's new Connect app turns ordinary headphones into smart headphones, letting you choose from a selection of options to enhance your listening experience. Control music playback, track selections and phone calls with a simple tap on the headphone touch pad or by saying "Okay Google."
Some people may scoff at the idea of a $200 pair of headphones with a smart phone app, but the Sony MDR-1000X will change their minds. The idea behind the app is to make music listening easier and more convenient. The first time I paired my headphones, it was easy to do—a couple of button presses on both the earphones and my phone, and everything worked just like it was supposed to. There are some useful extra features (like the ability to customize what happens when you push each button on your headphones), but for me the most useful part is that you can easily connect and disconnect from your phone without fiddling around in settings. This comes in handy if anyone wants to use your phone or you want to listen to something else for a while. Otherwise, you'd have to remember which Bluetooth device has priority, go into settings and disconnect from whichever one isn't playing music at that moment. Now you can switch audio sources by simply pushing a button on your headphones!
Marmo MR-06 is an all-in-one music player that stores, plays and manages audio files on a smartphone. It has a slim body, making it perfect for storing in a desk or shelf. The design is simple and neat, with a small screen that shows text and graphic information about the song. You can customize the appearance of the music player by choosing the color scheme for the font, the background and other elements of its interface. It also comes with five wallpaper options that allow you to add personal touches to your device.
