SecSign ID – 2 factor authentication (2fa, two factor authentication) for secure logins on websites like WordPress, JIRA, Joomla, and 2 step verification for Windows Server Radius and VPN • Log i
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an additional layer of security that requires two methods of authentication to verify a user’s identity.
2FA adds an extra step when logging into websites, applications, or services by requiring users to provide two pieces of information: something they know (like a username and password), and something they have (like a code sent via text message). This extra layer of security helps protect accounts from being accessed by unauthorized individuals. Examples include WordPress, JIRA, Joomla, Windows Server Radius and VPNs.
This extra step can be in the form of a code sent via text message or email to your device, or it could require you to use a physical authentication device such as a USB key. By requiring two different types of authentication (something you know and something you have), 2FA helps protect against unauthorized access by making it much harder for attackers to gain access to your accounts.
