The game pits two teams of up to three cars apiece against each other in a battle to take control of a giant ball and score it into the opposing team’s goal. Each car has its own unique driving style and can be outfitted with various “skins” that alter their appearance. Rocket League is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, macOS, Nintendo Switch and Linux.

In Rocket League, players control rocket powered vehicles that can jump, boost, flip, and crash into their opponents or the ball in an attempt to score goals and win the match. This may seem like a simple concept on the surface, but when taken into account that the maps are all different sizes and have multiple levels that can be accessed by rocketing your car up them, you’ll quickly realize how much skill is needed to master this game. There are also a multitude of modes available for you to play with friends or other people online including competitive matches as well as cooperative challenges for you to complete with others. Rocket League has a ton of replay value with its mutliple modes as well as unlockables such as customizable decals and cosmetic items to make your car look even cooler.
