Rastan is a great PC conversion of the arcade hack & slash hit. From MobyGames description: A foul dragon and his evil minions run rampant over Lograth. The land is filled with danger, the times are desperate and only you, Rastan , can save the day.

Rastan’s quest begins in the city of Arantir. It is here that our hero leaves home and embarks on an epic journey to rid Lograth of Chaos. Accompanying him on this adventure are his loyal friend, Atarin, and his brother Tarin who both aid him in his quest. Along the way he encounters fierce monsters and deadly traps which he must overcome in order to defeat the Chaos Dragon.

Rastan features exciting game play where you take control of Rastan and his allies as they explore dungeons, forests and fortresses looking for clues to help them defeat the evil Dragon of Chaos. As Rastan you can slaughter hundreds of enemies by using your powerful sword of destruction or you can use your bare fists, fireballs, or a variety of other weapons to dispose of your foes.

If you’re looking for an excellent challenge that’ll keep you busy for hours then Rastan will satisfy your appetite.

It’s one of the few quality games that was released by Taito in North America, but has since been overshadowed by more popular titles from Sega and Capcom. However, it is still worth the time to get into if you enjoy classic arcade games and want a fun, challenging game for your computer.
