Portal Runner

Portal Runner is full of fun, action, and great one-liners. It’s a story that’s as interesting to the younger audience members as it is to the older ones. The movie stars Cameron Boyce as Teen Nolan, Thomas Barbusca as Little Billy, and Adam Hicks as Adult Nolan.

Cameron Boyce might be best known for his roles on Disney Channel shows like Jessie and Austin & Ally, but he also starred in some really big movies like Grown Ups 2 and Mirrors. In Portal Runner, he plays the main character: Teen Nolan. Teen Nolan is a typical teenager living with his mom, dad, and little brother in a small town. On his 14th birthday, he wakes up from a mysterious dream to find himself trapped inside a parallel world where he’s chased by an evil man who wants to kill him. He soon discovers that all he has to do is step through one of these portals into another world to escape from him. But Little Billy has no idea how to get back home—he just knows there’s no way out of this bizarre place other than through the portals into other dimensions.

What would a portal look like to someone who’s never seen one before? Maybe it would be something like the opening scene of Portal Runner, where Teen Nolan is running down an ordinary street when he suddenly falls through the hole in the fabric of space and time back to his own universe (the real one; this movie takes place in the parallel world). Now he has to run for his life from the evil version of himself back home.
