mBlock
mBlock is a free graphical programming software based on Scratch 2.0 that makes it easy to
program Arduino projects and robots. It supports coding with mBot, Makeblock platform, Arduino
platform, micro:bit and other devices. With mBlock, users can control the robot’s motion through
drag-and-drop blocks; they can also write code in Python or C++ for more advanced functions such
as AI (Artificial Intelligence) applications. Additionally, mBlock provides an online community for
sharing projects and interacting with other students who are interested in coding and robotics.
mBlock 5 is equipped with various features such as AI, IoT and 3D printing. mBlock 5 allows users
to program their own robots, drones and other electronic devices using code blocks or a block-based
coding language. It supports multiple programming languages including Python, Blockly and
Scratch. With its drag-and-drop interface, users can easily create interactive stories and games by
dragging blocks into the workspace. Additionally, it has an open platform which enables users to
access cloud services for data storage and sharing as well as integration with Arduino boards for
physical computing projects like robotics or IoT applications.
