Lockdown: 2025

When a highly contagious virus puts the entire country on lockdown, enforced by martial law, one family learns they are not safe in their own home.

After a deadly and contagious virus spreads throughout the country and kills hundreds of thousands, the government institutes martial law in order to control the panic. However, an outbreak occurs at military bases, putting the soldiers themselves at risk. As a result, all troops are removed from base and placed in isolation, including those stationed abroad. The president addresses the nation about these developments and urges citizens to stay calm, but it’s difficult to remain complacent when your daughter begins showing symptoms of the virus after visiting her boyfriend on a military base.

After the first reports of a deadly illness sweeping the country, society quickly begins to disintegrate, and people turn on each other. A small group of people in a remote area struggle to survive under these new circumstances. How will they react when faced with this terrifying new world? Where will they draw their lines? What will be the breaking point? The story is told through the eyes of one woman as she tries to keep her family safe from harm, and from each other.
