That means LibreOffice has been around since January 2011, and it’s had time to become very polished and stable. There’s also a large community of developers that contribute to LibreOffice on a regular basis. That doesn’t mean there won’t be any bugs or that you’ll never run into any problems, but it’s likely that any issues will be addressed sooner rather than later.
