Golden Trails 2 is a charming and addictive hidden-object game. There’s a hint button that works well, but it can be used only before you begin your search. The items in your inventory are visible at all times, so you never have to worry about losing something. However, each scene has a number of interactive areas—you could miss something important if you’re not careful!

The game starts with the return of your grandfather, who has just been released from jail after being falsely accused of stealing the Lost City of Gold. You go on a journey to find the Lost City of Gold and bring it back, not just for your grandfather but for the whole village. You will meet interesting people and learn more about this legend that has been passed through generations. In order to save your village you will have to solve puzzles along your way, and collect artifacts.

Golden Trails 2 is very enjoyable, and you get very attached to the characters. The graphics are great, and everything about this game is very well done. There are some challenging puzzles which makes it more fun. I would recommend this game for kids ages 8–12 because it is a little hard and might be easy to get frustrated with if you aren’t good with adventure games. In the end though, it’s very worth it to see the ending because it’s one of the best games I’ve played in a while!
