FortiToken Windows
FortiToken Windows is a two-factor authentication solution that provides an extra layer of security
to protect your sensitive data. It can be used with Fortinet’s range of products and services,
including VPN, firewall, and network access control devices. It works by providing users with a
unique one-time code for each login attempt. This code must then be entered into the system in
order to gain access. The codes are generated on the user’s device and cannot be guessed or
intercepted over the internet, making it much harder for hackers to gain unauthorized access.
. It provides a secure authentication solution for Fortinet’s broad range of integrated security
solutions, including the FortiGate next-generation firewall and FortiClient endpoint security client.
FTM is designed to be used in tandem with existing user name/password credentials to provide
additional layer of protection against unauthorized access attempts. The application generates OTPs
that users must enter into their login page in order to gain access to protected resources or services.
The OTPs are dynamically generated based on preconfigured parameters such as time interval or
event triggers, providing an extra level of security beyond traditional username and password
authentication methods. FTM also includes support for SMS delivery of OTP codes as well as
integration with third-party identity providers such as Microsoft Active Directory Federation
Services (ADFS).
FortiToken Windows provides strong authentication to protect
users from malicious attacks and unauthorized access to corporate data on the go. FTM supports a
variety of authentication methods, including one-time passwords (OTPs), push notifications and
biometrics. The mobile application can be installed on both iOS and Android devices, giving you the
flexibility to choose the best platform for your organization’s needs. With FortiToken Windows
Mobile, organizations can ensure their employees are securely authenticated while accessing
sensitive information or enterprise resources in an increasingly mobile world.
