There are plenty of good reasons to love the movie Hoosiers, but the most important reason of all for me is that it introduced me to one of my favorite games. The best basketball flick game is here!

Hoosiers is based on a true story about a small-town Indiana high school’s triumph over the odds and winning the state championship with a team made up of misfits and rejects. It pits the underdog team against their rich and arrogant rivals, who just happen to be a lot better than they are, so naturally they have to pull out all the stops to win.

Along the way, they encounter a couple of obstacles that seem impossible to overcome: first, they’re up against the big school’s coach who doesn’t think much of them (he even starts trash-talking in the locker room before the crucial final game), and second, their star player gets injured in an accident that puts his career in jeopardy.

But what these players don’t realize is that basketball isn’t just about talent—it’s also about teamwork. And if you can get everyone on your team doing what they do best together, then you’ve got a much better chance of winning. So they devise a plan where everyone has
