This game has all the features of popular time management cookery games such as Bakery Story and others. Cooking Fever is a time management game where you can control the kitchen of different types of food joints, and cater to your hungry customers.
A definite evolution from the standard Diner Dash kind of games, Cooking fever lets you evolve as a player and unlock new levels through achievements. The game features the opportunity to cook over 400 dishes using a vast 150 different ingredients in 8 fantastic and unique locations including a Bakery, a Sushi-café, Pizza, Indian, Chinese and Seafood cafés. With over 300 levels to complete, the game offers fantastic fun and appears to be quite entertaining. On a personal note, I prefer games of this nature that let me carry on with whatever I’m doing and keep coming back to the game once in a while. This allows me to take a breather during work, and carry on with my game, sort of like reading a book; rather than having to start a level all over again. There are several kitchen upgrades and appliances that can be unlocked as you progress through the game, along with unlocking locations and buildings. You have the freedom to build your own restaurant where ever you choose, just make sure that you are able to cook for and feed your customers regularly!
This game follows a similar concept to Coaster Crazy, and keeps you coming back for more and more. The game is free to play, but offers in-app purchases for money and gems. However, with a little patience and effective management, you can quite easily manage on your own without spending any real money.
On a side note, there seemed to be certain compatibility issues when I tried to install this on my Nexus 5, but the iPhone seemed to handle it flawlessly. Available on both app stores, for devices running iOS 7 and up, and Android 2.3.3 upwards.
