BrowserDownloadsView
BrowserDownloadsView is a simple, portable and free utility that displays a detailed list of all downloaded files in Chrome and Firefox Web browsers. It allows you to easily restore any downloaded file by opening it using the default application.
With BrowserDownloadsView, you can also easily delete any download from the list, copy the download link to the clipboard, or save all items into text/HTML/csv/xml file. You can also export the entire list of downloads into tab-delimited/comma-delimited/xml/html file (Ctrl+S) for further processing with Microsoft Excel, LibreOffice Calc or other spreadsheet applications.
This utility works on Windows Vista and Windows 7 Operating Systems.
The BrowserDownloadsView tool displays a detailed list of all downloaded files in the Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox Web browsers. The application is useful for troubleshooting purposes, as it allows you to easily find and delete unnecessary files that may be taking up space on your system.
If you want to keep track of what’s been downloaded in your Web browser, or if you want to see a list of all of the files you’ve downloaded from a specific site, there are a couple of ways to do this. Chrome users can install the BrowserDownloadsView extension for Google Chrome, which will show a detailed list of all downloaded files. Firefox users have an add-on called Download Statusbar that’s similar. Both extensions are relatively straightforward and easy to use, but with some small differences in their display.
In the case of BrowserDownloadsView, there isn’t really an option to configure—the program shows you everything it finds. It downloads quickly, doesn’t take up much space or memory, and doesn’t interfere with anything else running on your computer. There is also no option to import bookmarks or other data from other browsers (for example, if you’re switching from Chrome to Firefox and want to keep your history).
