In a friendly tone: In Demolition City, you play a demolition man whose job is to demolish buildings, which earns you money. The game is made up of several rounds, and for each round, you are presented with a building and the tools at your disposal. Each building has different properties, such as walls made out of different materials. At your disposal are some bombs of different types such as regular, cold and chemical bombs. To complete the level you must destroy most of the building.

The first level of the game has three regular bombs that can be used in any way you want – by dropping them or by placing them on the ground. You can also buy a special bomb ‘superbomb’ that destroys everything around it.

In a friendly tone: The objective of Demolition Dude is to destroy as much of the building as possible without getting injured.

The game starts out with a timer counting down. You can see your bomb, which is a plunger that you pull back by clicking on it. The closer you get to pulling the plunger back, the more powerful the explosion will be when it’s released. When you’re ready to detonate, click anywhere except on the plunger. The explosion causes each block of the building to fall and shatter into several smaller blocks. These smaller blocks are still dangerous, so be careful! If you’re not fast enough getting out of the way they’ll crush you. If you have enough time, then you can place another bomb in place of where you were standing before the explosion went off. After placing a bomb, walk away so as not to get hit with your own blast!
