Bit Trainer is a classic conversion game between Binary, Decimal and Hexdecimal.

In this game you have to convert the decimal numbers you see into their binary or hexadecimal equivalent. You can either do this by hand or using the handy “bits” button. If you are doing it by hand, then each correct answer will give you a point and every time you make a mistake, the computer will tell you what error you made.

Each time you complete a level, it will ask if you want to play again. The levels get progressively harder as you go along.

Binary, Decimal and Hexdecimal are three bases of numerical representation. Binary is one of the oldest methods of representing numbers. Decimal is probably the most common system used in everyday life. Hexadecimal is slowly gaining popularity in personal computers. Bit Trainer is a conversion game between these three bases.

Click on the “Bin” button to select the base you want to convert to. For example, click on “10” if you want to convert HexDecimal to Decimal, or click on “10001” if you want to convert Binary to Decimal.

There’s an alternative way of selecting the base: click on a number in the game area, then click on the “Bin”, “Dec” or “Hex” button according to which base you want to convert that number into.
