Bamboo Paper
Bamboo Paper is a Windows app that lets you turn your tablet or laptop into a paper notebook. As the developer states, “Taking notes, sketching, and drawing is as straightforward and simple as using real pen and paper.” If you’ve ever tried to use a stylus on an iPad, you know how frustrating it can be to not have the feel of paper. Bamboo Paper is a game-changer for this reason. The app is free, but there’s also a paid version with more features.
The beauty of the Bamboo Paper app is that it turns your Windows device into a paper notebook, allowing you to capture your ideas whenever and wherever you are. Using it is just as simple as using a real pen and paper.

Bamboo Paper has a lot of classic features of today’s paper notebook apps. It lets you create as many notebooks as you would like, with each one holding an unlimited number of pages. The pages themselves can be either blank or pre-printed with a variety of different themes to choose from. If you want to keep your own handwriting in your notes and drawings, feel free to do so—there are no borders around the page, and the app makes it easy to select the outline of your text, allowing you to change its color, thickness, or remove it altogether if necessary.
Bamboo Paper also offers a very natural way to take pictures on your phone or tablet and turn them into handwritten notes in your notebook. You can even sign your name!
