The game contains two different ball-rolling games: “Ball Blaze” and “The Quest.” Ball Blaze is similar to the Marble Madness series of games, where you control a ball and must roll it through various obstacles, while avoiding enemies and collecting bonuses. The Quest is an RPG-like game where you must defeat monsters (and level up) in order to rescue princesses who are trapped in castles.

You play as a little fireball who must roll around and kill the evil monsters to restore the balance of light and darkness.

In Ball Blaze, the object is to collect all the gems in the level before time runs out, while avoiding obstacles such as spiked blocks, piranha plants, bombs, lava pits, etc. There are 50 levels included in this version of the game.

The world of Ball Blaze, despite its fantasy setting, is under a spell of darkness where a fuel called “the blaze” keeps everyone in a state of eternal night. A mage named Alkarr sets off on an adventure to retrieve the five legendary orbs that hold life making powers and restore light back to the world.
