2101

If you haven’t seen this movie, you should definitely check it out on Amazon Prime. It’s a great story and still relevant today.

Jack \”J.D\” Clement is a lonely janitor who spends most of his time with the students at his school but has no real friends. He’s a big fan of the classic TV show 2101 and spends many of his evenings in front of the TV rewatching episodes from the 1960s with his robotic companion, Junior. J.D doesn’t get out much and lives a rather boring life, until he meets up with two new students at his school named Sarah and Terry.

They share a common interest in video games, and begin to hang out together, becoming fast friends in the process. Sarah invites J.D over to her place to play some video games where they come across an old machine that looks like one you would find in an arcade.

This particular machine has a mysterious slot with three control knobs on it. After fiddling around with the knobs, Sarah suddenly gets distracted by something outside, leaving J.D alone to stare at the machine for a moment before it suddenly starts up on its own, playing what appears to be an old episode of 2101.
