Cosmos

When three astronomers intercept what they think is a signal from space, they’re shocked to find what they’ve discovered. It’s a new kind of star that no one has ever seen before—and the implications of its origins are truly out of this world.

In the movie, when three astronomers detect a signal they believe could be sent by an alien civilization, they find something much more spectacular than they were even expecting. This is a very fun movie, but I wasn’t expecting it to be so good that it would make me want to watch it again and again. I’m not a huge science fiction fan and sometimes they don’t make sense with their story lines, but this one was great. It follows what happens when three astrophysicists pick up an unknown signal from outer space. The government wants to use the information for its own military objectives, and there is also the problem of other countries trying to steal the technology if it is developed for military purposes.

If you are into science fiction movies I recommend that you watch this one. You won’t be disappointed, and if you enjoy this one there are several others that follow the same story line. Although there are similar themes that run between all of them, each one has differences as well.

To be honest, I know nothing about astronomy. If you were to ask me about the planets of our solar system and I’m sure that I could tell you all of them, but when it comes to the rest of the universe, I am absolutely clueless. So, when I saw that there was a movie based on Cosmos out in theaters, I knew that I had to see it.
