Secret Shuffle 4+
Music is a powerful tool for bringing strangers together. Imagine a silent disco, but instead of the music just being piped into your ears, the music is actually synchronized to a game that everyone at the party plays together. The catch? Everyone has their headphones on so they can’t talk to each other or see each other—the only clues players have are the visual clues in the game itself and their own physical movements and auditory clues from their headphones.
Interactive games like these are great ways to add some spontaneity to a party. Secret Shuffle also lets you turn any gathering into a gaming party without having to buy extra equipment, since all you need are these games and some wireless earbuds. You can choose one of 10 different games, or make up your own using the provided templates (documentation available here). You can even create your own music mixes with it!
Secret Shuffle is a game that anyone can play. It’s simple; all you need to know how to do is move around to the music and dance, and then sing along with your favorite songs. It has a lot in common with America’s Best Dance Crew or any of the other dance competitions on TV, but instead of being just a competition, it’s a party.
A group of people, up to 60 at a time, each wear a pair of wireless headphones connected to a central audio source. Everyone listens to the same music and moves around freely like they would at a regular party. Secret Shuffle has 10 different games that players can join in on because there are so many people involved. If you’re playing the House Party game, for example, you’ll be dancing along to songs like “We Will Rock You” by Queen or “Over The Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole, while avoiding songs from Ninja Turtles and Harry Potter. There’s no way for you to know which song will come next—the only way for you to prepare is by dancing along as often as possible!
