3 out of 10: Season Two
Super-powers, sentient AIs, and rival game studios all stand in the way of Shovelworks Studios as they struggle to finally make a game that scores better than “3 out of 10.” Will this season be their breakthrough?
Over the last two seasons, we’ve seen Shovelworks Studios struggle with a wide array of problems in their quest to make a video game that scores better than “3 out of 10.” All this time, they’ve been trying to solve the issue with a combination of caffeine, sleep deprivation, and shouting at computers. Now, in Season Three, they have to face new challenges:
-Caffeinated super-powers are only useful if you can figure out how to use them
-Sentient AI has its own ideas of what the game should be like, and they don’t like Shovelworks’ ideas
-Rival game studios have their own ideas on how to make a successful game, and they’re willing to break the rules to get it
If you’ve ever tried making video games, you know that the road to success is a long and complicated one. In season two of 3 Out Of 10, Shovelworks Studios finally takes a break from its current project, “Super Hero Simulator,” to take on a new challenge: designing a game around the popular “3 out of 10” meme. There’s just one problem—the team can’t seem to agree on what it should be.
