3D Munch Man II , a 1999 action game by WizardWorks Software, is a sequel to the original 1996 DOS game 3D Munch Man . The first game was published by Bally Midway and designed by Peter James Blackmore. The object of the game is to eat all the dots and mushrooms on each level in order to progress through the levels and defeat the final boss. It is set in an arcade-style theme.

3D Munch Man II is an action game, but it’s not really a game so much as it is a simulation of an arcade filled with arcade machines. You can play the game’s various arcade machines to unlock more of the game, and you can even interact with the people in the arcade through a series of menus.

It was the fall of 1999. I was living in a small town called Pierson, Florida (pop: 5,000), and I had just gotten a new computer. It was my first time ever owning one, and I wanted to make sure that I got a good game to show off what it could do (this was before everyone had a computer). It was time to buy the big game that everyone would be talking about.
