The 3D models for the cars were done by Sierra’s own 3D artist Eric Johnston as well as outside contractors who modeled the cars from auto manufacturers’ CAD files. A major feature of this software is the ability to play three separate games simultaneously. The first is a pinball game, referred to as the “Playfield” in the game’s menu. It features a 3D representation of a NASCAR race track with various obstacles such as buildings and bridges. At the start of each ball, you can choose from four different pre-set courses to play on or you could create your own course by placing cylinders which represent the road. You can also place ramps to complete in-air tricks and trigger special events.
