Edge of Extinction
Edge of Extinction tells the story of a man who tries to live a normal life in a post-apocalyptic world. He survives on his own and spends his days farming. One day, he meets a woman who changes everything for him. However, even though she is the light of his life, she can’t save him from the darkness that surrounds him.
Lukasz Kowalczyk (a.k.a. Luki) – Director/Screenwriter
From Poland, currently living in Warsaw. Started working in the film industry at an early age and became one of the most successful Polish directors with over 70 awards and nominations worldwide. His films have been screened at numerous festivals including Cannes Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival and BIFFF (Belgian International Film Festival). He has worked on movie sets since childhood when he assisted famous Polish director Andzej Wajda on set during filming of “The Promised Land”.
Luki attended international film schools in Poland and France where he graduated with honors in directing/screenwriting. Lukasz loves making movies and working with actors, which explains why he is always involved in so many projects at once (he was also an actor for a short period of time). This year he directed two
