Package, Inc. is a game about being a delivery man. It’s inspired by the game Delivery Man, and it shares many qualities with the classic PC game SimTower. Like all games from Traffix and Railways, it has aesthetic charm, lots of attention to detail, and an addictive quality that makes you want to play “one more level” before you go to bed. In fact, it’s so addictive that some people may even get in trouble at work because they can’t stop playing. But instead of being a simulation of work, as SimTower was, Package Inc. is a simulation of being a delivery man—but it’s not like any delivery simulations you’ve played:
The first thing you’ll notice is that there are no levels or goals in Package Inc.—this is because your character is the CEO of his own delivery company: You can set your own goals and see how long you can survive without losing your shirt and having to close up shop. You start out with $100 and one car (a box on wheels), and while there are no goals or levels (you are “level 0”), you can purchase upgrades as time goes on—new cars, new drivers, bigger trucks to carry more boxes (you start out with only one
